Trevor Scott leads Ownright with more than 40 years of experience in finance. He has seen how lending changes with the market and what stays the same: behind every difficult loan is a person who needs a way forward, and there usually is one.
Trevor leads a team with decades of combined experience in urgent mortgage refinances, fast private first and second mortgages, urgent business loans, debt consolidation and harder-to-place finance such as business purchases and new ventures.
How we work
We take time to understand each client's circumstances before suggesting anything. Then we offer tailored finance with a transparent, easy-to-understand process and support at every step.
Our edge is knowing where the solutions are. Banks and many brokers work from a short list of products and policies. We work from a much longer one, including private lenders, non-bank lenders and specialist structures most people never hear about, and we match the right one to your situation.

Ownright lends all over Australia. Our head office is in Knoxfield, Victoria, and we arrange finance for clients in every state and territory, in the cities, the regions and the bush.
We specialise in private and second mortgages, difficult home loans, rural, farm and agri finance, commercial and business loans, and vehicle and personal finance.
